Ajwain

It is a seed-like fruit often used in Indian cuisine. Grown in India and Iran, also known as carom seeds or bishops weed. Ajwain has a strong flavor similar to that of thyme which enhances the taste of the dish and helps to digest the food faster. This spice is loaded with protein, fiber, sodium, iron & vitamin C. Because of Ajwain’s components, it is used for medical assistance since ancient times as Ajwain’s healing and curative quality is excellent, enhances the digestive system, deals with abdominal discomfort, solves irregular period problems and is best consumed as a mouth freshener. It is said that one teaspoon of Ajwain two times a day will solve all the digestion issues.
